Lips of Faith – Heavenly Feijoa

Very much a subtle, yet bright citrus nose, leads into a smooth sweet taste. I can only guess the Feijoa (aka. Pineapple Guava) brings these scents to the beer. Bits of citrus & Belgium yeast flavors sit on your palette for just a moment, while it cleans off for a beautiful finish. The Hibiscus adds those floral notes that counteract any sweetness you may have found overpowering. Heavenly Feijoa Tripel is one more epic addition to New Beligum’s Lips of Faith series, in this collab with Brasserie Dieu du Ciel!

  1. Nice review pal. I have past this beer more than once. Intrigued by weird guava reference. Slainte

  2. Thanks Hopkins. Did some reading, and found that Feijoa comes from South America, and is also referred to as Pineapple Guava or Guavasteen. Either way, adds some very interesting flavors to this Tripel.

    Cheers!
