Next brew day

This saturday, February 5th, i’m kicking off my first all-grain recipe. With a few fellow homebrewers coming over the event, it should be a great day. Keep an eye out for pictures during the event.

And now…the recipe

Dawson’s Multigrain Red (courtesy of Northern Brewer)

Grain Bill
7.75 lbs – Rahr 2-row pale
.5 lbs – Weyermann Caramunich II
.25 lbs – Weyermann Caramel Wheat
.25 lbs – Weyermann Chocolate Rye

Additions
1 oz – Willamette (60min)
.75 oz – Willamette (30min)
.25 oz – Willametter (0min)

Yeast
Danstar Nottingham Ale Yeast (dry)

Mash schedule: Single Infusion
Sacch’ Rest: 152 F for 60 minutes
Mashout: 170 F for 10 minutes
