775 Gastropub’s “Forbidden Beer” Dinner

John Lenix opened the 775 Gastropub only a few short months ago, and already it has become one of the new hotspots in Reno. With roughly 180 beers to choose from (between tap & bottle), and an amazing menu, this gastropub brings a new feel to the Truckee Meadows.

On that note, they are hosting their first Beer/Food pairing dinner aptly named the “Forbidden Beer” dinner, due to it’s inclusion of 5 brews we don’t get in northern nevada.

3 Floyds – Gumballhead
Russian River – Pliny the Elder
New Holland – Dragon’s Milk
Bells – Two Hearted Ale
New Glarus – Wisconsin Belgian Red

Each brew is paired with a unique dish, designed by the 775 Gastropub’s chef. At the moment, they are pretty close to being fully booked, but no worries, we’ve setup a live blog for the event, so you can keep up-to-date as we go through each brew & dish.
